Fairfield Inn by Marriott Dothan

Location to stores, resturants and the baseball tournament was great. Indoor pool, walking distance to Applebee's, liked the water dispenser located by the elevator. Front desk clerk were nice throughout stay

The decor was nice. The breakfast was good. staff were friendly.

The reason I come back here is a staff that takes pride in their work, especially Ms. Q, the queen of the breakfast bar. She keeps the area spotless with better service than many restaurants. The food selection is above average, with mini-waffles to cook (so you can adjust portion size) and a variety of eggs & meat each day. Location is just off a main intersection; thanks to construction & lane blockage, it can be a chore to enter the parking, especially during rush hours. Dothan possesses a plethora of nice restaurants: I can recommend Charlotte's for real southern home cooking. Families will enjoy the pool.

many staff were exceptional: Que, the doyenne of the breakfast buffet, was a prime example: she kept everything clean & “fronted” the products in the fridge. Guests did not need to spray the waffle maker: she had it covered. I told her I admired her attitude: she said jobs can’t just be about money; there has to be fulfillment. The buffet itself was better than I expected: different items each day. The sound protection for my room (215) was very good: I didn’t hear movement from nearby rooms. Room was a “suite” w/ loveseat sofa, 2 TVs. I would consider staying here again, but would probably bring my own bed linens….

The staff went above and beyond to make my stay wonderful. I was having trouble with my laptop and Blake even offered to let me use his personal phone. The front desk clerk printed my Powerpoint for me and I really appreciated her help. Que had a wonderful breakfast ready. Everyone was so friendly and helpful.
